Advanced Technology International has been awarded a $99 million contract by the U.S. Navy for composite technology services. The award from the Office of Naval Research Navy Composites Manufacturing Center comes from a re-competition of a current contract and will used to fund the Composites Manufacturing Technology Center in Anderson, S.C.
The five-year contract includes an initial two-year base period award of $40 million, two one-year options for $20 million per year and a final option year at $19 million. The work effort will be performed by ATI at its Anderson Innovation Center.
